Port Macquarie is on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. If travelling from Sydney, it is about a 4 hour drive, or a 30-60 minute flight.
To Drive to Port Macquarie from Sydney, head north to the F3 Freeway. Follow the signs to Taree/Port Macquarie. Buledelah is about 2 hours north of Sydney and is a good half-way point to stop and rest. There is a large petrol station and McDonalds at the Port Macquarie turn-off. Follow this road (the Oxley Highway) into town. Lavender Cottage is located between Nobby and Shelly Beach, on Pacific Drive. There are two options when flying to Port Macquarie: Qantas and Virgin Blue. Qantas flights take less than 1 hour from Sydney, or about 30 minutes with Vrigin Blue.
